It’s School Resource Officer Day! SRO’s play an important part in our schools by not only promoting safety, but by bridging the gaps between law enforcement and our youth.

SROs are carefully selected, specifically trained, sworn law enforcement officers assigned to work with schools using community-oriented policing concepts.

We appreciate ALL of our school resource officers and their dedication to the students and staff of Fayetteville Public Schools!

Middle school artists across the district have been exploring Repoussé, an ancient metalworking technique that turns flat sheets of metal into stunning three-dimensional designs.

These beautiful creations came from Ms. McCartney’s art classes at McNair Middle School, where students drew inspiration from the natural beauty of botanicals. 🌿

Each student began with a sketch and brought their vision to life by shaping thin sheets of aluminum into intricate, raised designs, blending art, history, and creativity in every piece. ✨
