COVID-19 & Employee Benefits
Fayetteville Public Schools has received the following update from The State of Arkansas regarding the COVID-19 and employee benefits:
The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has added a heightened concern for our membership, and the Employee Benefits Division wants to inform our members of additional benefits that have been made available through our health plan. Beginning March 12, 2020 and going through May 15, 2020, our plan has added on the following:
No-Cost For In-Network Coronavirus Testing: If your provider determines testing is necessary, any member and dependents can get tested without a co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible.
No Prior Authorizations Needed: In-network providers are not required to complete prior approval paperwork if the Center for Disease Control guidelines and requirements of the plan are followed.
It is important to remember that these changes do not apply to any other medical condition, and are only available for this response for a limited time. To receive the benefits listed above, you must use an in-network provider.

The Employee Benefits Division has made the decision to postpone Catapult Health Clinics at all School Districts through April 4th. If you had an appointment scheduled during this time frame, you will receive a cancellation notice for your current appointment. Please be on the lookout for further information about rescheduled clinic dates at your School District in order to confirm a new appointment.
